Bus Transportation
By Iowa law, the District is obligated to transport students who wish to ride and are eligible. For most high school students, this means living 3 or more miles from the high school in your residence area.

Harding Calendar
The first day of school will Tuesday, August 25, 2026. This will be a full day of school. With the below buttons you can view a comprehensive Harding Calendar. You can also see the daily schedule below.
School Photos
School pictures are used for the yearbook and student ID. It is important for students to have their picture taken as IDs are required for entrance to many school activities including dances.
Athletic Registration
Before students can begin participating with a Harding Middle School athletic team.
The Harding Middle School Athletic Site will open mid July.
Open House
Back to School Open House for the 26-27 school year. It will take place on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 3:30 to 6:00PM.
Annual Verification
Verification of student information, consent forms, and release agreements need to be updated each year. This is done on the parent portal of Infinite Campus.

Lockers
Each student at Harding will receive a locker. They will be assigned a combination code to access their locker. Students should not worry about accessing their locker, a Harding staff members will be able to assist students.
School Fees
Students are annually assessed a “book fee” to cover the cost of services, supplies, materials and other special programs outlined by the School Board. A fee waiver can be obtained for families that qualify for the District’s Free and Reduced Meal Program AND who complete the waiver portion of the Annual Verification in Infinite Campus. This must be filled out yearly.

2026-2027 BOOK (CONSUMABLE) FEE
Full Rate – $70.00
To qualify for Reduced or Free Rate, parents must check ‘yes’ in the Educational Benefits portion on the ‘Free/Reduced Lunch Eligibility’ screen when doing Online Verification in Infinite Campus. If ‘yes’ is not checked, you will be responsible for the full amount.

Breakfast $2.55, Reduced price $0.30
Lunch $3.50, Reduced price $0.40

Parent Involvement
