Harding Middle School offers eight boys sports and seven girls sports for students in seventh and eighth grade, as well as 12 athletic intramural activities for students in sixth grade.

Seventh and eighth graders who participate in Harding sports must have a physical and concussion form on file before participating. If you need assistance, Metro Care Connection may be able to assist with getting a sports physical.

Physical examinations are valid for 12 months from the date of the physical, and Iowa law allows a grace period not to exceed 30 days for expired physicals.

Forms are also available in the Harding health clinic or from your health care provider.

NEW THIS YEAR, PHYSICALS/CONCUSSION FORMS NEED TO BE UPLOADED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN INTO THE BOUND SYSTEM.  YOU CAN DO THIS BY SELECTING THE REGISTER YOUR ATHLETE TAB ABOVE.

Participation in extracurricular activities is a privilege, and students will be expected to be in good standing academically. Coaches and directors will work with teachers to create a plan to improve grades if necessary.

If a student is not riding the bus back from an away game, they must have a transportation slip signed by a parent/guardian.
